The purpose of this project is to create a new and interesting reading experience for the The New York Times readers. Through conceptual illustration and exploration of space the layout will appeal to, and build an interest in reading, in younger generations. This design is specifically designed to introduce the newspaper to youth, and is included in the weekend edition of The New York Times. Including this ‘kids’ section in the newspaper advocates The Times education initiaves, establishes reading in childrens daily activities, and strong family values.
